Wendy’s Restaurant – Embrun, Ontario Details

Project Description

Exterior Wall Assembly & Steel Cladding Installation

Final Roofing Solutions completed the exterior wall assembly and cladding installation for the new Wendy’s restaurant in Embrun, Ontario. This project was part of a new construction build consisting primarily of a wood-framed structure with select structural steel beams supporting key areas of the building.

Our scope included the installation of Blueskin VP160 air and water barrier to provide continuous protection against air infiltration and moisture penetration. Over the VP160 membrane, we installed 18-gauge steel Z-girts, creating a durable sub-framing system that allows for proper spacing, ventilation, and secure attachment of the exterior cladding.

The final exterior finish consisted of Vicwest steel cladding panels installed in Wendy’s branded colours, delivering a clean architectural appearance while providing a long-lasting, low-maintenance façade suitable for commercial environments.

This assembly not only enhances the building’s visual identity but also contributes to the overall durability and weather resistance of the structure, ensuring long-term performance for the owner.
